During the transaction, if the merchant fails to release tokens or the customer fails to pay the gift card, both parties can appeal. Just click the appeal button to initiate an appeal.
After the appeal silent period expires, click the appeal button to enter the appeal process.
If the account appeal fee is not enough, you need to stake at least 10 GMS appeal fee before submitting an appeal.
The following is an example of an appeal initiated by a merchant, and the client pays an appeal fee to enter the appeal process:
The merchant initiates an appeal, waits for the customer to pay the appeal fee, and then enters the appeal process.
After the customer mortgages the GMS, click "Pay Appeal Fee" to enter the appeal process and wait for the judge's decision.
In order to be fair to both parties of the transaction, to avoid one party being too late to pay, or the transaction is not packaged due to network congestion, the platform has set a 15-minute silent period. You need to wait for the quiet period to end before you can actually initiate an appeal.
Once the appeal fails, the losing party will be punished with tokens. The platform recommends that both parties resolve the issue through communication and try to avoid appeals.
When appealing, both parties need to mortgage GMS as the appeal fee, according to the arbitration result of the referee. The platform will refund the appeal fee to the winner, and distribute the GMS of the loser to the referee and the winner.
If one party initiates an appeal and the other party fails to pay the appeal fee within the specified time, the platform will automatically determine that the party that has paid the appeal fee wins and the party that has not paid the appeal fee loses.
After entering the appeal process, the platform will assign 3 referees to the appeal order. The three referees will give results within three days based on the testimony of both parties and on-chain transaction records.
As long as more than 2 referees decide that A wins and B loses, the order ends automatically, A wins and B loses.
The arbitration time is uncertain and adjusted dynamically according to the length of the judge's decision. The arbitration shall be concluded within 3 days at most.
